Before you travel

Make sure all necessary documents are prepared – a valid passport, travel-related documents (tickets, reservations, visas, etc.), and your travel insurance policy.

Save our assistance number 8888, in case an insurance incident occurs during your trip and you need consultation.

Regarding your insurance policy, make sure that:

  • The policy contains correct details of the insured person
  • The coverage period includes both your departure and return
  • The travel destination is correct
  • The purpose of the trip is accurate

Keep electronic copies of your passport and travel insurance policy on your mobile devices!
Plan your departure to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours in advance.

What to do in case of an insurance event during your trip

By calling 8888, the assistance service will provide help, coordinate necessary treatment, and, if needed, arrange transportation.

  1. Receive guidance by phone on what to do;
  2. Follow the instructions provided by the assistance service;
  3. Request and keep all documents provided by the assistance service;
  4. Submit a Compensa claim form with the required documents;
  5. You will receive the claim payment. Payment will be made within 5 business days after the decision is made.
If a guarantee is needed to cover medical expenses

Compensa, in cooperation with the assistance service, will contact the medical facility and guarantee payment for the service if such an arrangement is needed. They will also handle the insurance claim formalities and settle invoices for the services received.

! If the insurance event occurs in Turkey or Egypt, please contact our Assistance Service before receiving medical care. This will help quickly arrange the necessary assistance and determine the extent of expenses.

If medical expenses are not coordinated with Compensa, we reserve the right to reimburse them only to the extent they would have been covered through the Assistance Service.
