After the accident, inform Compensa in writing as soon as possible, but no later than 30 (thirty) days.
If it is not possible to submit the claim via the portal, please call 8888 during the main office working hours.
Documents required to submit an insurance claim

  • Accident insurance claim form
  • Medical report from a specialist doctor or hospital discharge summary with the final diagnosis (e.g., in case of a bone fracture)
  • For bone fractures – extract from DataMed
  • Payment documents for medical services received and prescribed medications (receipts, invoices, or payment orders)
  • Sick leave certificate, if the policy covers daily allowance for incapacity

How to submit additional documents for an already registered claim?

  • The documents can be scanned and sent by email to nga@compensa.lv, specifying the claim number in the subject line.
  • If it is not possible to submit the documents electronically, you can do so at any of our customer service centers.
