After the accident, inform Compensa immediately, as soon as possible, but no later than 3 (three) working days.

If the accident was documented using the Accident Report Form, it must also be attached when submitting your claim.

Assistance coverage is valid only if it is included in your insurance policy.

Assistance coverage includes:

Transporting the vehicle after an accident or breakdown.
Starting the engine using jumper cables.
Replacing a flat tire with the spare tire in the vehicle.
Fuel delivery if you unexpectedly run out of fuel.
Help with safety system issues.
Unlocking blocked doors.
Unlocking automatic transmission gearboxes.
Minor repairs, such as temporary covering of broken glass, topping up coolant, defrosting door locks, and securing loose parts (exhaust, protective bars, etc.).

Call the police or complete the accident report form electronically on the LTAB website www.ltab.lv by opening the section “Agreed Statement”:

Take photos of the accident scene and the damaged areas of the vehicle.
Submit a claim via the Compensa portal.

Immediately take all necessary actions to prevent further damage or reduce the extent of the loss.

Report the accident to the appropriate authorities, such as the police.
